Weddingbee boards

Every now and then DH forgets to wear his ring. It bothers him more than it bothers me!  Anyway, I was thinking of buying him several (actually 2-4) inexpensive bands for him for a Christmas present or an anniversary present.  

When looking for the first band he said he wanted the most inexpensive band we could find and suggested we go to Wal-Mart to find it!  He DOES NOT CARE about material things at all. So, we went to  Wal-Mart and they didn't have any of the economy bands in stock and we would have had to order online.  Long story short, we found another online retailer that had something he liked for less than what Wal-Mart was charging. So, I was thinking I could purchase a few different inexpensive bands for him to wear and change up when he wants.  Maybe a dressier looking one when he's wearing a suit.  Maybe a plain one for when he is working out.  Maybe he could leave one in his car to have on those days that he fogets to grab his wedding band before he leaves the house! 

I've never heard of this being done before.  What do you think?  Am I crazy?

I wonder if people will ask questions about why they see a different band on his finger.  Not that he would care what they will think, but he will get irritated by repeatedly being asked the same question.
