An engagement ring without a wedding ring?

I don’t see an issue with only wearing one ring. Maybe get a plain band to wear for certain things (like a beach trip).

annann91 :  My engagement ring has a triple shank band and is also quite flashy, so I’ll be wearing it as a stand alone. I personally think that all of the wedding bands I tried on actually took away from my ring, tbh. I say wear your ring solo, with pride! xoxo

I’ve seen some married folks that wear just the engagement ring as their wedding ring. One of my mom’s friends got remarried many years ago and didn’t want to wear a wedding band because her ring was unique and she didn’t have any bands to go with it. She said before she walked down the aisle, she took off engagement ring and he slipped it back on her finger after the ceremony.

My fiance and I both have engagement rings. They’re both a little different than the normal, but mine in geral is a ring with a center stone that is engagement ring style and my fiance’s is a band. We’ve decided to use these rings as our wedding rings because my fiance doesn’t want another ring as he’d only wear one of them and he likes this one and because I don’t like having too much on my hands (so wouldn’t want to wear two rings at once).

Before our wedding ceremony we will give give back our rings and then put them on eachother during the wedding.

This is what we did. I never wore a ring throughout our engagement, we bought an engagement ring before the wedding and that is what he slipped on my finger during the ceremony.

Yours would be fine as is! You could get a band that looks like one of your bands and then it would look like a 3 band ring.

Any option that results in me having less jewelry is the one I won’t be choosing. Lol But you can make your own rules. If you only want to wear your e-ring then do so… Your double band kinda makes it look like you’re already wearing two anyway.

How about still getting a wedding band, but wearing it on your right hand and leaving your e-ring on your left? Or vice versa? You can get a really lovely sparkly stand alone band 🙂
