Please stop spelling my first name wrong. I know it’s not the most popular way to spell it, but the blame for that lies with my parents. Is it really that hard to just copy and paste my name since you can’t be bothered to double check your emails before you hit the ‘send’ button?
It is unprofessional and it makes me nervous to think that you might spell my name incorrectly on any materials where my name may appear.
Step it up.

Can’t write to my vendors yet because don’t really have many.
But I can tell you a funny story with names. There was someone I was emailing for work purposes and I kept using their last name as their first name and I didn’t realize it. She finally emailed me and told me that was her last name and I felt really embarrassed, but I felt so greatful that she finally told me!
Maybe if you actually write back and mention it in a joking way, they will stop.

my in-laws still haven’t figured out how to spell my first name correctly… so I understand your frustration!

FI’s last name ends with an “S” and our venue had it wrong, so I finally just had to tell them. I would do the same thing in your case; just straight up tell them they’re spelling it wrong.
I had a cello teacher who I saw every week and he called me by the wrong name for three months until one of his other students who knew me told him. It was kind of ridiculous because my parents kept saying my name in front of him hoping he would pick up on it :/.

I can absolutely relate!! EVERYONE spells my last name wrong. It’s to the point where when I show up at a receptionists desk, I spell it the correct way and the incorrect way, because I automatically assume that it’s messed up. Often times, I’m right…

I have an odd spelling of a normal name. I love when I’m out places people say oh, its spelled wrong let me correct that. Uh no, thats correct and I would appreciate if you ask me before you mess it up again.
