Eeee! So soon! I definitely got anxious the week of my wedding. Not because I wasn’t thrilled to be marrying my then-FI, but because all of the wedding and honeymoon plans just swirled through my head all week long.

Don’t worry – your wedding WILL be great, even if there’s a hiccup or two, which most brides experience, I think. I know I did. But that didn’t stop it from being an amazing day surrounded by love and joy!

Enjoy these next few days and have an AMAZING weddng weekend!!!

@7yearlovestory:  @jessdoxy:

Good luck to you date twins!

I’ve been getting nervous too – starting to toss and turn in bed…o_o;; (noooo I need my beauty sleep!)

I have a phone call with the photographer after work to go over our schedule for Saturday, a dinner outing with the officiant tonight, and will be dropping off all decorations this Friday at the venue….

(And I have to stop procrastinating and paint those cake toppers…!)

I already made a tiny mistake – I sent my and MOH’s hair pins with my mom (mom was going to keep all dresses, jewelry, etc at her house and then bring them down the day of – since I live in a tiny apartment and had no space) so I won’t have them with me at the salon.  I freaked out for a second, but then said “Oh well, I guess mom will have to put the hairpin in my hair (and my sister, MOH’s hair) once I get to the venue.”

Good thing is that my mom is really careful and good with her hands – so I trust that she won’t ruin my hair while doing so. Whew.

Hopefully nothing else will happen. 🙂

I’m definitely nervous about things going wrong, but I’m trying not to worry about it.  Everyone has been told what they are supposed to be doing.  I’m off to get my manicure and pedicure shortly so that should help me relax.

@Redholix:  I procrastinated way too long for some things (lesson learned should have started my projects earlier). Sounds like you have a great backup plan for those hair things

@JacobsMama:  Hope you have a relaxing mani/pedi, hopefully I can get in tomorrow for mine.

@Gemstone:  I’m in the same boat as you, my feelings of panic are about the wedding plans and the honeymoon. I have never taken a vacation and have no idea what to pack or what I can bring on the plane and proper size of luggage. Where are you going on your honeymoon?

Hope everyone has a fantastic wedding and I too can’t wait for the recaps 🙂

Yesterday it was -22 with windchills down to -55 and by saturday it will be 33!!! Yay.

I got my manicure yesterday and I also went and got the Mystin Tan …  I have tan lines on my arms still and I needed to even it out.  Looks so much better.

Everything is pretty much done now.  Tomorrow morning, we’re going to pick up FI’s tux and our rental order, and head over to the venue to set-up.  Tomorrow night is the rehearsal.

FI just left for his bachelor party so I have time to go over everything and make sure I didn’t forget anything.

@jessdoxy:  We went to Maui for our honeymoon. It was funny — the night before the wedding, I wasn’t up till 2:00 AM doing wedding things. The wedding stuff was taken care of. I was up trying to pack for the honeymoon! I had to get ready a bag of wedding day stuff, a bag of wedding night stuff, and then the bags I’d be taking on our honeymoon, because once I left the house in the morning, I didn’t come back for anything till we got home from Maui!

I’m also terrible at packing in general, so that didn’t help my case. 😉

Where are you going for your honeymoon? If you look at your airline’s website, they will tell you size and weight restrictions for luggage — both checked and carry-on. Carry-on limits are *pretty* standard…meaning that if you have luggage labeled “carry on,” it’s likely okay. But the airline will specifically list out dimensions for carry-on limits. And they’ll list checked luggage weight restrictions too — almost always 50 lbs. If you don’t have one, buy a digital luggage scale. The one I have is handheld. You strap it to your luggage and lift your luggage with it, and it’ll tell you the weight. Mine is prett accurate, and it’s definitely what helped me pack for our honeymoon without going over the weight limit!
