Sent mine out on Wednesday. Such a relief! Glad they're out of my hands so I can concentrate on Christmas-related things instead.
I sent mine out about a week and a half ago, and I asked to hand cancel them myself. (They let me.) But I agree, it feels sooo good to have them out there, and it's SOOO fun getting the rsvps each day!
@bunnylovesbear: i can't wait until i get our first RSVP! i'm hoping our local guests will return them asap so i can get some before christmas :)
I've already started getting emails and texts about how pretty our invites are :) At least I know some of them are already making it to their destinations! My biggest worry right now is getting a whole dump of "return to sender"s through the mail slot, lol.
@blondeeebuckeye: I got my first rsvp TWO DAYS after mailing out my invites! And we've gotten at least one every day since then. super fun!!
yay for February brides! mine just went out yesterday too!! :) lots of us on the same page here!
so the invites went out monday..yesterday (thursday) we got 4 rsvps!! :) i got super excited when i saw them in the mailbox :)
Today was the first day we DIDN'T get an rsvp back in the mail since we mailed them out on Dec. 1st!
Just curious where everyone is as far as RSVP count...
We mailed ours out 16 days ago and so far we have 75 yes, 2 no, and 64 that we are still waiting on. So much for our "100 person wedding"!
Well I havent sent mine out yet..... No time, but 99% of our guests are in town so I guess its not a problem...right? We should be mailing them out first week of Jan. Thats not too late is it?
@blondeeebuckeye: holy cow, that is awesome you have so many back already! I mailed mine out on Tuesday and I have 0 back yet. But, there was no mail Saturday so I guess that isn't shocking. I am hoping that the RSVPs start rolling in this week but I have a sneaking suspicion that I'm going to have some slow responders.
@blondeeebuckeye: we invited about 290 people and are hoping for no more than 200 attendees. . so far we have about 80.
I'm so jealous! I am getting mine from the printer today and mailing them this afternoon. I wanted to send them out Monday, but that didn't happen with New Years Day. I keep thinking I'm sending them out too late, but we did send a save the date and I am still sending them 7 weeks early. I'm so anxious to get them out!
We sent ours early, since most people are in other countries. So far we've had 61 'Yes', 40 'No', and 33 people who didn't respond by our December 31st deadline!
I finally mailed mine this morning. When I got to the post office, nobody else was there, so the woman working just started to hand cancel them without me even asking her to. Awesome! I can't believe they are finally out!!
yay for all the Feb brides!
i am getting the feeling I am going to be doing a LOT of calling next weekend. . .our RSVP deadline is next Friday. so far we have 95 'yes' responses and 23 'no'. . .out of 293 adults. . .so we still need to account for ~150 more people!
Our rsvp deadline is in about two weeks, and so far we have 135 YES responses and only 11 NO response. We invited 226 guests, so that means we are still waiting to hear back from 80 guests! However, I just found out that two of our guests never got their invitations! Ugh! So I just sent out email to my friends that I haven't heard back from yet, and I asked both Moms to contact the family members we haven't heard back from. Hopefully no other invites went MIA!
Oh, and we are hoping to have about 200 guests in attendance.
Our RSVP deadline is in two weeks and we have 85 yes, 4 no, and like 50 we haven't heard from. Our RSVP's have really slowed down a lot this week...now they are just trickling in.
I'm Feb 26, and our RSVP deadline is fast approaching. As many of you guys, I have a lot of guests that haven't responded. How long are you going to wait before tracking people down? I have a feeling a lot of our guests will see the deadline date and stick it in the mailbox that very day, so I was thinking of waiting three or so days after the deadline before making any calls.
@JackieDe: same deal for me. Our RSVP deadline is Jan 26, which is wednesday. I really wanted to have my numbers by next saturday because my mom is coming in for our last weekend of planning TOGETHER and i wanted her to help me with a seating chart. So, i'm going to start making calls thursday.
@CorgiTales Yay date twin! Good luck with the seating chart! I know making calls won't be much fun, but it'll be nice to see everything coming together.
Our RSVP deadline was Friday. We were missing 26 people (about 18 invitations). We waited until we got the mail Saturday and then started tracking people down. We've gotten in touch with most of them at this point--still waiting on 6 people.
We have to give our final count to the venue on Monday. Yikes!
I can't believe I'm 25 days out....wow.

I sent out my invites this morning. It was a RELIEF to hand them over to the postal worker...
Anyway, I asked them if they could hand cancel them and the lady told me that she wished she could but this is their busiest week and they just couldn't do it. Oh well...but it's something for you to think about if you're sending your invites out in the next 10 days or so!
When is everyone else sending out their invites for February?
