Your pics have to be under 1MB to load... do you have a photo resizing program? There are free ones out there like GimpShop and Irfanview... hope that helps!
i love them!! where did you get your supplies? was it a kit?? you did a really beautiful job :)
GORGEOUS!!! I love the color combo you chose! Great job!
Goregous!! Do you mind telling us how you did them??
Very cute invites!!! I sent mine out Monday. What a relief to have them gone!!!!
Thanks! I love how they turned out too! I'm going to attempt to post close ups since you guys like them!
Your invites are ADORABLE! We almost went with your color scheme..love it!
I just bought the U-folds (red) and 2 sizes of aqua envelopes from www.envelopperinc.com. Then I made the invites and inserts in Illustrator (I'm a designer by trade). After I made the 3 inserts fit on one 8.5 x 11 page I relized that since I printed that blue pattern on the backs, I had a make shift belly band with the scraps! It was a happy accident. I rounded all the corners with my corner rounder and assembled them. Then yesterday I stumpbled upon little aqua stick on rhinestones (Martha at Michaels) so I added them to the u-fold. Voila!
I loved the look of wrap labels so I got 8.5 x 11 label paper and printed those. Calligraphy was going to be way too expensive for my budget. The whole invite suite was around $300 with stamps, ink, paper, and envelopes. I printed everything on my Epson and that really saved money.
Thanks for all the compliments!
@ LLauRRa - We decided to do a Q&A card because people kept asking us how to book a room. We rented a "campus" called Whispering Pines in RI (http://www.uri.edu/ajc/wpines/) and it's more of a campsite with cabins than a normal hotel. We rented it for the whole weekend so people have been telling us casually they want to make sure they have a cabin. I explain in the Q&A how to call and also what activities will be happening on "campus" - like a "things to do". And also that stiletto heels aren't recommended for the outside ceremony:) We just didn't feel like feilding tons of the same questions! Haha.
@ beagle - I printed them off my Epson WorkForce and I used Premium Matte Presentation paper. Hopefully no one will mind that I ink-jetted it!:)
We have an Epson Workforce and that's what I used to print my invites. I love our printer. Of course, mine are very simple and nowhere near as beautiful as yours.

I finally finished my invites! I can't believe it. I'm kinda sad to see them go but they took FOREVER to design, print, and assemble! Anyone else spend way too much time on a DIY project that took on a life of itself?? What do you guys think?
(I've never uploaded pics so bear with me)
