We booked our reception at the Andover Country Club, in Andover, MA. We loved it from the beginning! But now a couple months have past and we have had some problems. Anyone else, got anything to say about ACC?
We have had some problems with them now that we have booked. Like when we were booking they told us the day of the wedding we would get 8 comp passes to golf for anyone to use. Which we thought was great! Since my finace and brothers love to golf, but we just found out they are not comp. and we have to pay if we want them and they are over $100 a person!

Did you get that in writing anywhere? Even in an email? That seems like something that a venue would typically do — 8 seems like a lot, but 4 would be appropriate. I’d definitely go back to them and double check on that one. In this economy it’s up to everyone as an individual to make the most out of their dollar! Sorry you’re having problems — I’d try to get a bunch of things in writing now as you still have a while to your wedding and you don’t want them to be changing things on you.

A friend of mine got married there but I didn’t go to her wedding. My big thing is that I put EVERYTHING in writing with my venue’s wedding coordinator (mostly through e-mail). I am paranoid that they will backtrack. That is the lawyer in me, I guess : )
