Jesus, thats not normal.  And also is scary because what if his physical anger turned on you one day, and he hurt you?

I would strongly suggest anger management…. and general counselling. Why is he refusing to go?  What does he say?

@ArmyWife8806:  My oldest (of two) brothers is like this.  Unless he is willing to accept help (and he’d have to want that help before he’d accept it), I don’t forsee much change.  I’m sorry you’re going through this.  🙁  I don’t envy you.

EDIT: As a side note, my brother used to take medicine for his emotional difficulties. I dont know if it was for bi-polar or A.D.D. or what he was diagnosed with (I don’t know that info specifically) but he decided to stop taking the meds about 6yrs ago when he read the possible side effects and determined that they would ALL happen to him.

Wow! That’s scary, I agree with the previous post, what happens if that was turned towards you? Does this happen when he’s mad even for small things?

No. I’m worried for you. Your wedding is so close. This sounds like a dangerous situation.

I hope he doesn’t hit you?

That behaviour is not normal…I would INSIST he goes to counselling (No option) . You do not want that sort of rage in your life.

I would be beyond pissed, that causing a lot of loss and money and damage. Hopefully he can rein it in, are you sure you can live with him behaving like this? You can’t force him to get help, but you can choose to not participate or live in that kind of enviorment. I hope if he destroys your things that he paid to replace them.

I could not live with a person like that.  I hate loud noises of any kind that are made in anger.  The worst thing I have ever dealt with because of anger is the silent treatment.
