So I recently order a kennel for the new puppy that I will be getting tomorrow back on July 13. It finally came today and they sent me the wrong one. I order a soft crate kennel that is 12 x 10. The one that i recieved is a metal crate that is way to big. So I went on Amazon to process a return and I will have to pay shipping cost to return the product. I feel that I shouldn’t have to pay the shipping cost when they screwed up and did not send me what I order.

I just want to say that if you ordered from that exact listing, it’s not even shipped by amazon it’s sold by a vendor.
Regardless, sorry you got the wrong item that really sucks especially after waiting freaking three weeks. I’d ask them to express mail you the correct one.

Returning things in their error should not result in a return shipping charge. Can you go through the return menus again and try some other selections? I’ve made returns to them for defective items and did not pay return shipping. Surely a wrong item is their mistake and you shouldn’t have to pay anything for it.

I plan on contacting the seller later night when I clam down some and see if I can get them to refund me the cost of the return shipping.
If all else fail and I am stuck taking the hit on return shipping or they do not respond back I plan on leaving negative feedback on their store front because it is their fault.

Did you contact the vendor or Amazon? I have always found Amazon to be very good at fixing errors, even if it was an outside vendor that made the error, and not Amazon. You are going to need to contact a live person though, not just click a return button or go through some menus. Find a phone number or email address and get in touch with an actual person. They will sort it out.

Like others have said I would contact Amazon directly via phone. I’ve gotten quite a few items both their error(Amazon & amazon vendors) and clothing that didn’t fit & never had to pay for the return shipping, they’ve always sent me a return shipping label pre-paid.

If they sent the wrong item you don’t pay shipping back. You have to select that in the drop down menu for returns.
