@larueka: the trick is getting in – it’s got a very full schedule. Great location in my opinion – close to hotels and public parking. Also, if you can list the caterers they want you to choose from, you might get better feedback on your post.

Funny, i just wrote a blog post on this.

I contacted two of the caterers before we went to see it and the rough estimate (with additional rentals, bartenders, but we provide the booze) was around $11k-$15K.

That said, it was based on our specifications – i.e.  the kind of food/service we wanted.  I would go ahead and contact 2-3 of the caterers if you are seriously considering the venue and ask for an approximate estimate.  They do this for people all the time and it will give you exactly the info you need to make the right decision.

PS – We ended up going with Smog Shoppe for a number of reasons but one was that we felt it was worth it to us to have a much less expensive caterer (Jalisco’s Tacos) and spend the money on the venue instead.

hi!  I recently got married at the annenberg beach house and found it really difficult to find information online since it is a relatively new site.  The venue fees vary depending on time of year.  Day/night fees vary and also the area of the beach house varies in terms of cost.  The guest house which we used was beautiful was $1400 day, 2400 evening.  The sand and sea room and view deck were 3800 day, 4800 evening.  Additional costs include on-site ceremony surcharge of $450, parking attendant $88 for 4 hours, security was about $200, parking $10 per car, insurance $203.

We went with feast catering for a daytime, buffet-style lunch.  It turned out to be $115 a head which I think is expensive for what we got in the end.  Looking back, I wish we went with Schaffer’s genuine foods which would have costed very similarly but I think they would have delivered a better quality.  Back on the beach quoted in the ballpark of $80-90 for a casual salad/fingersandwich luncheon.  They seemed really sweet on the phone but $80-90 for salad/sandwiches??  Joan’s on third was rude to me on the phone so we didn’t get very far.  Message me if you want more details and good luck!
