I got an anniversary band for our first anniversary but its a wide stand alone RHR. I don’t think its to much though. The first anniversary is important. But I also think it should be something you & your husband talk about it. You can let him know you would love one for a anniversary & see if he thinks the first anniversary is to soon. Then go from there. πŸ™‚ My husband knows I love jewelry in general. So what I usually get for anniversaries, birthdays & holidays is jewelry related unless I mention something else that I woud like. πŸ˜›

Here is mine:

Oh & also I love your set as is, GORGEOUS! But two bands wouldn’t be bad either. πŸ˜‰

oh i love it with the 2 bands!!! But I could be biased because I have a band on either side of my Engagement Ring πŸ™‚ In any case, I think it looks nice and balanced, and super sparkly!

I think a first anniversary is a great time for this. Some people feel that the first anniversary is early, but, if you are in the financial position that this would be comfortable and he wants to, I say go for it! In my experience, a lot of people don’t do things like this so early because of financial reasons, but there is no rule book. It looks great in the picture.

I think it looks really pretty with two bands. I am generally am not a fan of stacked sets but I think it’s dainty enough where it’s not too much.

I don’t think the 1st anniversary is too early.  It’s never too early to get more diamonds πŸ™‚  I didn’t get an anniversary band until my 10th!

I also did not get a “push present” either.  I think I got a high-five and a “good job”.  I know a lot of women that did, but more did not.

I always wanted a set with a band on each side of my engagement ring… It didn’t happen for the wedding, and I’ve fallen in love with my set! πŸ™‚ But, I would love to have a matching band for the other side… I told my Darling Husband (FI at the time) that it was totally fine with just this one, but he told me he’d like to get me the other one eventually πŸ™‚
I also love the idea of a *LESS-EXPENSIVE* right hand ring… I’d love to have a nice, fancy colored ring… Rather than the cheap $5 ones I buy all the time πŸ™‚

What did you end up deciding? I say go for it! I received a 1 year anniversary band that matches my wedding band. I feel it makes the ring look symetrical and kind of “hugs” my e-ring. I had the anniversary band soldered to my e-ring and kept my wedding band separate so I can wear it on its own if I want.
