- Wedding: May 2014
Hi everyone! I am having a pretty small wedding and it will be a destination for my family, local to myself and fiance since we moved a few years back. After scouting our guest list I realized we have very few single people attending so I will likely forego the bouquet/garter toss for an anniversary song. We would give the bouquet & garter to the longest married couple. However, due to health issues my grandparents cannot attend the wedding. They are by far the longest married couple (60 yrs). We are skyping them in for the important parts of the wedding. Should we still pass the bouquet and garter to them via skype (i would preserve and ship to them) or present it to the longest running couple at the wedding? I dont know what is appropriate.
