Our 1 Year is coming up on Sunday. I am just curious as to what you did/will give your spouse? How did you celebrate?

I did a boudoir shoot, but my photog is taking forever. It was supposed to be my paper gift. I am not sure if am going to get my pics back in enough time to make my online book by this weekend:( So, I might have to save it for his birthday in Jan (I am taking him to Hot Springs).

I also posted about having a Surprise Anniversary Celebration that I am throwing on Sat. I ordered a replica of our wedding cake and invited friends and family. I also got a card, of course. We don't drink, but I got a small bottle of White Zinfandel to toast with on Sunday and we're going out to eat. That's enough, right?

In my opinion, there's no reason why you couldn't give your big gift a little late - just explain it was something you special ordered and it didn't come in on time.

My husband has actually worked really hard to give me "year specific" gifts. He gave me a stretched-canvas picture (He considered this "paper") for year one. He also bought be a really cute cotton sundress for year two - I found out afterwards that he looked for weeks to find something cotton that he thought would make a good gift. Although I love the dress, it means so much to know the thought behind it. That's the key - The thought behind the gift :).

    Happy Anniversary, by the way!

@MissEdamame: Thanks! I am a very scheduled person and I don't really like the thought of giving a gift late for a specific occasion. I'd rather give it for another one. Your hubby is sweet for trying to stick to his "theme".
