We’re having a very small (18 guest) wedding (ceremony and reception) at Disneyland. We have a much larger group of family and friends that are not being invited, but whom we still like. I would like to send out announcements after the wedding, but I don’t want it to seem like we’re sending them out just in hopes of getting more presents (because we’re not, we’d just like to share the good news).
What do you think of sending out announcements?
PS- we love the venue so the number of people we’re inviting is not changing. We’re looking at sending announcements to 40-50 people/couples.

Etiquette Snob here… lol
Wedding Announcements are fine… and a good way to spread the GOOD NEWS, maybe include a Photo or two, and even a share your Change of Address or Name etc.
There are some really cute WA’s on various on-line Stationery sites like Shutterfly / Wedding Paper Divas etc. Many where you can customize the whole process… Upload Pictures, Text etc.
I would think it would be fun to create one based on a Disney Wedding.
Hope this helps,

I don’t get announcements especially in this day and age. If they are your friends they already know you are getting married even if they aren’t invited. If they don’t already know then they prob aren’t that good of friends so it’s not necessary. Change your status on FB and there is your announcemnt, save the $$.
