Sure, why not? It’s not like you’re buying a $4,000 stroller or something.

I think it is a cute idea!

The only reason that I wouldn’t do it is that if, for any reason, you find yourself unable to conceive, it could end up haunting you. Think of the Tiffany’s baby rattle in SATC.

That sounds really cute! I’ve had experience with waiting too long to get a gift and then it’s gone so you might as well get it while it’s available!

Once we started TTC, I went ahead and bought a onesie to surprise him with and tucked it away.  I wouldn’t have bought it before TTC, but I also didn’t have to worry about it being discontinued or anything.  Yours might.

I think it’s too early.  He may be over the whole John Deer thing by the time you do get pregnant or into something else more.  Besides I’m sure you can buy a onesie or something when it does happen from the John Deer store.  and in my experience I planned to give my Darling Husband a gift but he was on a trip for 4 days when I found out and I was too excited that I told him the 2nd day into his business trip.  I ended up sending him a text message picture instead.

I think it’s too early, but that’s because I’m the person who would completely forget about it 2 years from now.

I totally think it’d be cute. A few of my girlfriends and I have bought a couple “must have” things that were going to be discontinued and then stored them at each other’s homes just in case our husbands were snooping.
