There's a bar on the top that allows you to sort. YOu can choose to see only wedding related posts if you like :)
If you're only interested in seeing wedding posts, there's an easy way to filter everything else out. Simply click on the link at the top of the page that says "Wedding Related." That way, all of the baby, home, newlywed, etc... type posts won't show up.
I know. People don't always choose the right tags.
The baby posts are all in the Nesting section. So if you want, you can sort by Wedding Related, NWR (not wedding related), month twins, and local to avoid seeing anything about babies. :-)
ETA- hilsy85 beat me to it!
We do encourage members to post to a specific board - for instance, I just moved this to the Weddingbee board for you - so that you can always filter to see only the WR content at your leisure, as others have stated. :)
As PP mentioned you can filter. However this wedding website has grown the last few years with those of us getting married and moving on. So it's not like they just appeared; the boards have been around for quite sometime.
I sort of wondered if as more bees end up on the married side of the wedding if the board will shift towards nesting...seems like it is.
@Melini: The purpose of Weddingbee will always be primarily for Wedding support. our boards, gallery, bios, classifieds, and blog will always only cater to weddings. However our discussion boards were being inundated with nesting posts as our community grew, so we added an additional section that our users could filter out for exactly the reason the OP posted.
We want our users to feel comfortable posting, but also reading the boards and that is why the filters were created. Before that, the NWR board was filled with baby stuff too!
@lmoss78: It's also timing. School has started again. Summer weddings are winding down. Preparing for some Fall Weddingbee's to start posting! Don't give up, this is an awesome board. (Also, filter as the PP's have mentioned).
Maybe I'm just in a foul mood today, who knows. Being a part of this community is definitely a choice.
@lmoss78: I know for me, I was so sad after my wedding was over that I couldn't be a part of the boards. Having the nesting option for me allowed me to keep my love for weddingbee and the amazing community here! I've been married a year and a half, and now I love the babies section because that's where I am in life. It's nice that this site will cater to women in different times of their lives, after being married - we don't always want to post wedding stuff!

That's it - just had to get it out there. I thought this was a Wedding website...more than half of the board postings right now are pregnancy related.
