I would move on. If she really wanted your business, she would have answered! Plus, you want someone who will answer your questionsin a timely fashion and that is a red flag!

RenoSweeney24:  Ha!  I’m wondering if you are using the same florist I did.

I had a florist with a great reputation of always delivering spectacular results.  But she’s flighty when it comes to communication– even when it came to collecting money– she still took forever to get to me.  That’s when you know someone really is just flighty.  She didn’t come running even when it came to money LOL

I don’t know what to tell you– I know most will tell you to run and find a new florist– as there are many out there that will be responsive.  But the ones who are “the best” are often busy and take forever to get back (no joke)– I’m also pretty familiar with the industry because I used to do wedding flowers.

It seems the ones with the most unique styles and creativity are the busiest– and the worst in communication.

Because everyone from my mom, to my oldest friend– to the women who we were going to rent linen’s from– all promised M (my florist) would deliver, even though she’s notorious for being flighty, I stuck with her.  She also had lanterns I really, really wanted– so I stuck with her for those, too.  It worked out just fine.

So there’s a positive story about someone who was in the situation as you 🙂

RenoSweeney24:  No I don’t think you’re overreacting. If she isn’t interested in your business and calling you back, then don’t give her your business You don’t want to have issues or concerned with her reliability if you did book her for your wedding day
