I hope I’m not alone, but does anyone else have a large number of RSVPs not rolling in? I haven’t heard from 22 families, which totals 58 people. I’m a little more than annoyed with this. The final cut date is this Saturday, so technically they still have 4 days, I suppose, but still! Way to wait until the LAST MINUTE!!! >:(

Our RSVP date is the 26th (so then we can start hunting people down), and we’re missing something like 30 people. At least one I know is waiting to get time off from her job/grad program, so we told her she has some leeway. Four others (a family) swore up and down that their is in the mail, but I haven’t seen it yet. Everyone else ??? including FI’s own brother.

Oh don’t get me started. People seemed surprised I even wanted them to RSVP.

Our RSVP date was yesterday and yes, we were missing a lot. I’ve managed to track down the majority of them but yeah…people piss me off. Sooo over how inconsiderate people have been in general. I’m ready to marry my sweet Fiance and see all the people who are actually excited to be there to celebrate with us.

I was pleasantly surprised at the number of people who responded right away. We only had to track down a few. Hope your guests clue in soon and you get those RSVPs ASAP!

We had to track down 3 invites, a total of 6 people. We’re having a Destination Wedding so RSVP’s were due June 1. I received one in the mail THIS WEEK!!! Way to be more than a month late 🙂

I have about 80 people of 210 (or ~45 of 130 invites) still hanging. Ugh. Although I was realllly bad about RSVPing for most of the weddings I’ve been to before planning this, so it’s probably karma coming to bite me in the ass.

We’re missing a ton still. Like, 78 people I think? And that’s after asking some people and some educated gueses. Our RSVP date was last Wednesday! The return envelopes had stamps on them already! How hard can this be?!?!? Also – my Maid/Matron of Honor never returned hers, which irks me for some reason. There were questions about her SO being able to be there the whole time, so I understand the delay, but COME ON!
I’m also kind of weird about wanting to receive all of them back, for memory purposes…

I go from being totally pissed with people to focusing on other things to being pissed again.
I am waiting for one person to get time off work, another person who is waiting to see if that person attends so they can RSVP (stupid, right?), and another person who really needs to wait to see when they have time off work. We’re also waiting on a few people that have told us, “I mean, I have until July 24, right?” WTF?! REALLY? Yea…people annoy me

I know the feeling! Seriously! My cut off date was OVER 2 WEEKS AGO and I’m still chasing down people for RSVPs. We sent out our invites in April so no one would have to worry about getting time off. Well a guy I work with still managed to “forget” to ask for it off and is now trying to switch his shifts around, thanks “friend”… Not only that but we’ve had about 5 people RSVP “Yes” and call or (even worse) text later saying they can’t come any more.. I cannot wait until this is over.

I am pretty sure I’M worse off than most of ya’ll! We sent out 119 invites in mid-June and have only gotten 40 rsvp back! What a waste of money on stamps… They still have 9 days to rspv tho so let’s see…

HA, my grandma is going to call my cousin and her dad and ask where their RSVPs are. We got ONE yesterday. I know we still have 9 days to the deadline, but really? A lot of these people are local adults who have been to a number of weddings before. They should know to effing RSVP.

I am SOOOO glad I’m not the only one! I did post something online on facebook, and surprise surprise, I’ve been getting some back in. Don’t worry- I wasn’t rude. On our RSVPs we put a line at the bottom that says, “To ensure lots of dancing, please ask your DJ to play this song: _______” Some of the responses have been great 🙂
So, for my facebook post, I wrote, “I have really enjoyed receiving our RSVPs in the mail with so many great song requests and so many funny comments and so many sweet thoughts. I hope to receive the last 22 soon **hint hint, nudge nudge**”
haha. Down to 17, so that’s good progress for a couple of days difference, right?
I just hope noone thinks it’s okay to reuse my envelope with the stamp already on it. I didn’t spend over $130 in stamps so people could use them for their own purposes. Just sayin’.

Our deadline is Friday and I still haven’t heard from 110 people. How hard is it to send back a self addressed stamped envelope? Alot of these are people that I have heard through the grapevine are going but haven’t confirmed to me they are going. I had someone tell me yesterday they didn’t know what the RSVP card was so they threw it away. Really? I wouldn’t have sent it if it didn’t have a purpose.

Yes! I called a few people and almost ALL my family said ‘you should already know i’ll be there’. We had about 5 people RSVP on their own. Everyone else we had to call, or they called us about hotel information. UHHHH did you RSVP? lol not sure why some people think it’s a given. It’s not a bday party where anyone comes.
