So it’s Monday & I’m not a morning person. These 2 things combined generally mean that I’m not in a great mood at the beginning of the work week and things get on my nerves much more easily.
The Jr. Partner in my office likes to whistle. Whistling is one of those things that annoys me on a good day, right now it makes me want to hurt him.
What gets on your nerves on a Monday morning?

@MsGinkgo: Hahah! That made me laugh on a cold miserable Monday morning. I work with a Physician who, when he’s done with a chart (and our charts are 3-4 inches thick typically) will THROW it into a metal bin on wheels with a bell on it (no idea why there’s a bell on it) and it’s just so ‘effing annoying because he makes NO effort whatsoever to be remotely close to the bin! I just want to punch him in the jugular when I hear that bell!

Whistling is horrible.
My executive assistant has her phone on full blast. I can hear every time an email or text comes through her phone, oh and her calendar reminders. At least put that on a reasonable volume. The vibrate is on with that sound. She’s right outside my office. It drives me bonkers every day….all.day.long.
then, not to mention that she’s too busy answering her texts and emails to make coffee for everyone in the office – to whom she is texting her husband all day…..
Can we say, Monday morning throat punch?
ETA: IDK who she’s emailing, but I haven’t heard the clicking of her keyboard stop for quite sometime…..

The woman sitting next to me on the train to work this morning had the volume on her headphones SO LOUD everyone could hear every word of every song she listened to. I had my own headphones in (at a reasonable volume) and could STILL hear her music over mine. Ugh. Some people are so inconsiderate!
Also, it’s like 18 degrees here, so that pretty much sucks, too.
