(Closed) annulment= waiting even longer?

This is a really tough situation… If you are ok with getting married in the woods and having your spirituality being involved in the form of a blessing and the presence of your priest, then I don’t see a need to wait. If you really want it to be officially sanctioned and recognized by your church and need an anullment for that to happen, then things will get more complicated and you may have to wait awhile. However, if your SO has done that twice already… I have to question how seriously he takes that process anyway. Maybe it’s time to do things differently and for you two to give your own significance to marriage, rather than going through the hassle (is it even a viable option? would your church grant it?) of getting an anullment and having the traditional sacramental marriage.

Good luck, hope you find a solution that works for you guys and doesn’t leave you waiting for too long!
