Hahah I have been following your posts, and you are just over thinking things now. The Ballgown is way more appropriate for the church, and you look wonderful in both. Plus, you already bought it and you get to wear two dresses! YAY!

Stop thinking, and enjoy how amazing you look in both!

The ballgown looks beautiful on you! It’s one of the few dresses on the bee that gives me dress envy! I think that dress is more appropriate for your venue, and I just think it looks so gosh darn gorgeous on you that I want you to wear it so I can see how amazing you look in all your recaps!

Aside from my LOVE of your ballgown, if you really love the Lazaro, go ahead and wear it for your reception, but my only reservation with that is a ballgown is actually easier to dance in than a mermaid! But it’s your wedding, and you need to love how you look. Just please believe me when I say you look INCREDIBLE in that ballgown! No exaggeration! I did not think that I liked tulle skirt ballgowns until I saw your dress, but it just blows me away how gorgeous it is on you!

Looks like my vote is out numbered! Lol. I love the ballgown, especially on you. It’s very fitting! I voted to wear it all day but that’s just because I’m one of those old fashioned brides who can’t grasp their head around the concept of two dresses. :]

I didn’t think I liked the ball gown in your previous posts, but it looks totally differen’t in this picture for some reason. I think it’s beautiful! Perfect for your full mass, large church wedding.

You already bought both and look great in both, You should wear both!! 🙂

@Willow1991:  You definitely don’t look wide, the ballgown makes your waist look tiny! That is one of the things that I love about that shape!

As far as sitting in a ballgown goes (I wore one too) it is very fluffy, but to be honest with you, I think I sat for a total of 10 minutes the entire wedding, and that was to very quickly eat my dinner! So I wouldn’t worry about it too much.

But if you want to wear both dresses, then go for it! I SWORE I would not change out of my wedding dress, but like a week before the wedding, I found this amazing and fun beaded cocktail dress for an amazing steal, and wound up buying it as a “just in case” reception dress. I still wanted to stay in my ballgown as long as possible, but when I started having people step on it dancing (like an hour before the end of the reception) I went and changed. It was fun and the second dress was a big hit!
