What kind of a feel are you going for? Vintage? Classic? Formal? Casual? Funky? And what are your colors? What does your dess look like? We can help much more if we know those kinds of things.
Very pretty! In my opinion, less is more, so don't go to extremes to wear a bunch of accessories. I had a sparkley bangle, single row of rhinestones headband, and diamond pear-drop earrings that my grammie gave me, along with a sapphire ring (for my something blue). Like the OP above, what are you going for?
It's really what kind of look you want but if your hair will be down and you will have the birdcage veil, I would say very simple stud like earrings but anything for a necklace or no necklace.
@bride2beIn2012: i was kinda thinking stud pearls too simply because anything long would get caught in my hair (stupid hair).
To the other posters, i have no idea what style. I guess vintage-inspired (because of the dress and bird-cage veil) classy? I like pearls, but would i need to match the pearls to the dress? it's pretty ivory-colored. Would just pearl studs and silver bangles or some sort of prettier-than-plain-silver bangle(s) work? I loooove the idea of a loong strand of pearls doubled up or tied together or something but I'm afraid it would be too much given how complicated the dress is. I don't want to take away from the dress becase i LOVE the lace and how bold and usual it is.
I wear jeans to work every day and used to wear t-shirts until i got a real job that required me to look not like a hobo to work every day so...yea i know very little of these things.
btw: these are my shoes (if that make a difference)
they're from zappos (naughty monkey gliztyz). FI is 1" taller than me and i'm 3" taller than my next tallest bridesmaid sooo...yea, flats are totally the way to for me to go.
I do like the idea of a sapphire or otherwise color ring though, as long as it wouldn't compete with the wedding/engagement rings.
My wedding colors are royal blue and "butter" yellow. The shoes aren't QUITE the blue i was looking for but they're the more optimum combination of color and style i've been able to find thus far.
Do the birdcage veil, and ornament it with some small flowers or jewels in your wedding colors.
add a bangle bracelet with perhaps some sapphire detail, and a simple drop necklace with either a pearl or diamond/rhinestone. Match stud earrings to your necklace.
Cute Shoes!!

I can barely dress myself, much less accessorize so I was wondering if you ladies had suggestions for what i can wear with my dress. At the moment i'm planning on wearing my (long brown) hair down and curly with a birdcage veil.
