Hi bees! I have been a long time lurker, and now a first time poster! I’ve learned a lot from you ladies on here, but never had a question of my own until now! I bought one dress 2 weeks ago, but had one more appointment last week that I decided to go to anyway. Turns out I happened to like one of the dresses they put on me. So now I can’t decide wehther to stick with the dress I already bought (well put a deposit on) or buy the new dress I like. Maybe wear both? GAHHH!!! I know you bees are so informative and trust your opinions from what I’ve seen, so please tell me which dress you like better!
This dress is actually a plus-sized sample gown, so it doesn’t quite fit me in the way it’s supposed to despite the clips. I included a model pic for reference to show what I think/hope it *should* look on me with the right size. I probably will even alter it to make it more trumpet style so it hugs my body more:
Here is choice #2: I am standing on a platform for both, so both dresses will look a lot shorter on me 🙂

I like the first one more. It’s beautiful on you!

Definitely #1. The second is nice, but once a bunch of the bottom gets cut off I don’t think it will look right anymore.

They are both lovely, and you look fantastic in both! but i’m going with the first one, it’s similar to the dress i’m about to order.. and i love lace! Hope you feel confident in whichever one you choose, good luck 🙂

I like #1, it is very tasteful, elegant and looks gorgeous on you. The second one to me, is a little problematic because I have issues with that bow…it catches my eye too much and I feel like it’s a little distracting. You look beautiful in both, tho.

Hope I fixed it! There should be pics of two dresses! Forgive my newbieness lol

Thank you everyone for your opinions! It’s funny bcs the first one is about $1200 and from a no frills wedding store, and the second dress with the bow is a Pnina Tornai dress and is about $4000 from Kleinfelds! Who would have thought!

It all depends on your wedding. The first one is more formal, for a ballroom or cathedral or formal garden wedding, and the second looks more like boathouse or museum or rustic.

I like the second one better. But, I’m also getting really tired of seeing all lace dresses. Every bride is wearing one these days!

I think dress #2 looks like a pageant dress or a Christmas present … blame the bow. Go with #1.

I vote the second. Dress #1 is beautiful, but I feel its quite plain and dress #2 is more fun.

Wait, which one did you already buy? The lace dress looks fab on you. The Pnina doesn’t quite have that WOW for me.
