you sewed this yourself? awesome job. I wanted to make a bolero like that for my wedding but I ended up having my grandma sew it for me instead. How hard was it to sew the lace pieces together? Can that be done with a machine?

@Bostonsmom: The shoes are extremely comfortable.
@amariem25: Yes, I sewed this myself, and yes, the lace can be sewn on the machine. The lace is a little difficult to sew, but only because I was working with a zipper and staystitching. It is a more delicate lace than I am used to working with and in the future when I make this dress, I am going to make the overlay separate from the dress. With the staystitching, I had to make sure that I fixed my first stitch, so the thread didn't unravel from the lace.

Well, it was a little difficult with the Chantilly lace, but I have finally completed my Rehearsal/Party dress and bolero/jacket. Here are a couple different pictures of the dress with and without the bolero and also the shoes that I will be wearing with them.
