Hey everybody!

The BF and I have been dating since February, and talking about marriage since July. Our plan has been: promise rings in Feb 2010, engaged fall 2010, married fall 2011. Well just a couple nights ago we started talking about the promise rings. We both came to the realization that it was silly to do them when we were planning on getting engaged shortly after. He then suggested that we get engaged sooner! So he said we will be getting engaged next spring!! Needless to say, I was ecstatic about the moving up of the date . So I've been looking at rings online (and of course showing them to him). And he's promised that in december/january we are going to start looking at rings at the store together! I've also been looking at all sorts of wedding and engagement websites online. I was beginning to think I was looking just a little too early when I stumbled upon this website and saw all of the people who are in "waiting" just like me! I am so excited to be a part of this community! I'm newly in waiting so I'm sure I'll be needing support!! Thanks to all of you for being here and making this such a great site!!

@britt...well im glad you guys have a plan! that's awesome & congratulations!! im not sure yet about a dress....definitely white, strapless, long. ive been so busy looking at rings, i havent gotten to the dress part yet ;). what about you? any dream dress??

Welcome! :)  Don't worry, everything seems so far away and then...it turns into a few months and you'll wonder where the time went. 

@britt... yeah i haven't even started looking at dresses because i know im going to have the same problem ;). good luck picking one out! im sure you'll find the perfect one :). ohhh no! don't get your hopes up too much. we're talking about engagement in the spring and im sure ill still be a little let down when i have no e-ring after christmas lol.

Hi! I'm new and waiting too. I think you're going to get your ring before me, but we have a timeline too, so that helps.
We'll grow up as bees together ;)
