Weddingbee boards

Sorry, this took so long. We were engaged New Year's Eve but I couldn't let Weddingbee know because I had to wait for photos and we all know that waiting bees must post with a photo and story lol!

NYE is also his birthday and I was flying in to celebrate. Throughout our relationship he has been giving Vermont Teddybears (kind of like Build a bear). Well when he handed a box with one I thought he was mad: Who hands someone else a present when it's your birthday??

I opened it to find the bridal bear with "Will you marry me?" engraved on her paw and a small box fell out. So I opened it and there were....earrings?? So I turned to him, and he was on one knee asking me to marry him. I was told I said yes but I can't remember. We then celebrated with our friends and visited his family to tell them.

I found out that he called to ask my parents for their blessing and also asked his and in return we got some wonderful stories of their engagements that I plan to record for our kids.

@Curlydreamer: The centre stone is a natural swiss blue topaz and the surrounding stones are diamonds (our birthstones).
