DIY project that is! Finished invites too! Yeah me!

Sorry for all the pics but I worked on the damn things for 3 mos (too bad they have to be all blurry and web-safe).

Used the background from one of Anna Skye's templates (Thanks!) and did the design in InDesign. Made custom pocketfolds (looove that paper) and bellybands.

OMG use a glue stick...don't use those tape rollers with the double sided tape. I had to redo a bunch of the pockets because the tape started to loose it's hold after a day or so. How embarrassing would it be to send someone an invite that fell apart?!

Quick question, is that a ribbon wrapped in paper for the belly band? Did you use a glue stick to glue that together too? I've never seen a belly band like that (I guess I haven't been keeping my eyes open!) and I'd like to try it!

@xoxokristin: Yeah it's a ribbon with paper attached. I just used a heavy duty glue stick. I probably could have used hot glue but I wanted to be able to fold them after I glued them together.

@bluebutterfly: I just printed them on my color printer - it's a canon that can print photo quality. I had to handfeed a lot of pages (2 per invite x 70 = way too many hours by the printer)
