I would go with a single flower in your hair, your dress is so pretty that I’sd be worried that a veil would detract from it.  Also with no veil it means you can showcase the jewellery.  The lace detail on your dress is very pretty.

I LOVE your shoes!  Can you share the brand?

With regards to your question – I think you should go with a birdcage, I think the mantilla might detract from the dress.

If you go with a mantilla veil, would the veil be all lace, or just lace on the edges?

The reason I ask is because an all lace veil is quite heavy.  I had two veils – one a really long tulle one for the ceremony, then I changed into a lace mantilla one for the reception.  I didn’t realize until I wore it for a while how heavy lace is.  I wished I had kept the tulle one on.

Out of your three choices, I would prefer just the flower in your hair.

Your Dress reminds me a bit of Kate’s, the Duchess of Cambridge… and for that reason I’d go with a tule veil (chapel length sounds nice) with an edging of the lace you have shown… which is what is what she did (one of the best detail shots I could find online)

Although this future Queen, can really rock a Birdcage as well… here also comboed with a lace dress

    Hope this helps,

SHOES… Right now the fashion is ANYTHING goes.  Really, the whole idea of the shoes having to be bridal-like and match the dress be that “white / cream / ivory / silk / peau-de-soie / satin or lace” has flown the coop.

You can do whatever strikes your fancy (and heart strings).

So the shoes you’ve posted here are awesome… or if you vision is “something blue” go with that.

Truly, the sky is the limit here.  Your gown is going to hide them most of the time anyhow… and it’ll be fun for pre-Wedding pics, or to kick up your heels at the reception (lots of photos of all these circumstances here on WBee)

    Hope this helps,
