Hi bees! Darling Husband and I got married in August, and we have planned to start TTC next June. However, I have had a very odd month. I ovulated on October 24th and a couple days later I noticed that my breasts were alarmingly tender. Then I noticed I was having a lot of discharge the week after ovulation – which isn’t normal for me. I soon started getting a slight pressure in my lower left abdomen. It wasn’t painful – it was just a strange feeling. This pressure has been on and off for the past week or so. Earlier this afternoon I began feeling very nauseous. Darling Husband and I went to see a movie tonight, and I went to the bathroom at the theater at 8pm and noticed some light blood when I wiped. I figured I am just starting my period early, so I put a tampon in. (AF is supposed to start in three days) However, I became increasingly nauseous throughout the night – but I am not having any cramps. Which is strange because I always have very painful cramps on day 1 and 2 of AF. So, I just went into the bathroom and took out my tampon to change it..and there was only about 3 drops of light red/pinkish blood. That tampon has been in there for almost 4 hours! Now I am wondering if this could be implantation bleeding? If AF has not completely shown her face by the time I wake up tomorrow morning, then I will take a HPT. But for now, I am wondering what some of you experienced bees may think…? Maybe you can calm my nerves and tell me that I am worrying for nothing? 😉 Darling Husband and I definitely aren’t planning on having a baby so soon, but if it were to happen.. we would certainly love the child with all our heart!
Thank you in advance!

It’s very possible that your spotting could be implantation bleeding, but it’s unlikely that the nausea is related. That usually comes much later. It’s really hard to say with those symptoms so you should probably take a test. If it’s negative and AF doesn’t show in a few days, test again because it may still be a bit early for the test to detect pregnancy. Whatever the results, I hope you’re happy! 🙂

It def sounds like it could be implantation bleeding but I agree the nausea is probably not related and not sure if the BFP would show up so soon but for sure in a few days if you are preggo. Keep us updated!

I wouldn’t take a test for a few more days so there’s enough HCG to count. I think I might have implanted 3 days ago, (or I ovulated late), but since then I’ve felt a tightening in my lower abdomen, very gassy, and very, very nauseous. I almost threw up 4 times yesterday (like almost started gagging). It is rare for morning sickness to start that early, but every woman is different. Some women are more sensitive to the changes in horomones and that can cause nausea very early on. I would assume I had just ovulated based on my charts, but according to cervical mucus and the feelings I’ve been having, I think it might have been implantation because nausea isn’t a very common post ovulation feeling (at least to the extent of throwing up), but even the small rise of horomones after ovulation could be bothering me so you never know.
I would wait another few days, though so you don’t get a false negative. You might have just started spotting earlier, but wait at least a few days after your missed period.

@ForeverBlessed: How did you calculate that you ovulated on October 24? Temps, ovulation tests, Mittleschmertz, online calculator? If that’s the case then you are 11 DPO, and if you are using a First Response test with concentrated first morning urine, and it’s negative, I’d be confident in saying that you aren’t pregnant. I would continue to test for the next few mornings with a FRER. GL!

Well I’m definitely not pregnant, because I woke up this morning with full-blown AF. It was just a very very odd month for me!
