We got married in October, and I wore ivory as well...the groom and groomsmen (including ringbearer) all wore ivory shirts with brown tuxedos. There was absolutley no black, white or roses anywhere in my wedding decor, clothing, etc. We went entirely rustic and I'm so glad that we did...
I think it would be OK if the groomsmen wore white instead of ivory. What matters is you and your FI match
I think I'd go with white shirts for all in this situation... but we're not having our guys buy stuff, and I didn't like the ivory at the rental place. It's hard for me to picture ivory shirts besides those.
I guess in my view, your dress doesn't need to match because youre supposed to stand out anyway. And usually the groom has a different bout or something that makes him stand out.
The bride doesn't have to match anyone. White or ivory (for the guys) are both perfectly fine.

Hi everyone,
For our wedding in May I will be wearing an Ivory dress (watters) and have been driving myself insane trying to figure out if the groom & groomsmen (and ring bearer, and flower girl...) should be in white or ivory. For simplicity's sake, I've at least told the ringbearer and flower girl to just go with white... they'll match and life is much easier (couldn't for the life of me find an ivory shirt for toddler boys that wasn't too yellow). If they make the rest of us look "dirty", so be it...
Now, the question is... my dress is clearly not white-white. I would like to have my fiance in an ivory/ecru/off-white that matches and he agrees, but he doesn't want to make the groomsmen spend a lot on new shirts when they already have white ones. Would it look weird if FI and I are in ivory/off-white and match, and then the rest of the bridal party is in white?

What do you all think?? Any help would be great since I've been pulling my hair out over this for the last 2 months... crazy, right?! Thanks, hive!!
