So, I was hanging out with a group of our married friends,….the women…. who all have kids. We were the only couple with no kids yet, so I could only listen. Anyway, they were saying that when they were pregnant with a boy they didn’t want much sex at all. If it was a girl, then everything remained the same. Have you heard this too? Has it been true with your pregnancies?

@PrncssDva: I’m 21 weeks pregnant with a little girl and in the beginning up until about 2-3 weeks ago, I never wanted to have sex, like ever! Now, I am just starting to feel up to it again. So, that theory didn’t work for my pregnancy!

@PrncssDva: LOL… We’re expecting a baby girl and sadly my sex drive is almost non existent (completely opposite from my pre-pregnancy days). So i dont know how true that is with gender predictions.

I have a friend who told me that as soon as she was pregnant with her baby girl, sex started to hurt and she didn’t want it, ever.

I’m pregnant with a boy and don’t find sex pleasurable right now. Hormones and exhaustion are what’s dictating it not the fact that I’m carrying a boy. Sex during pregnancy actually brought on a lot of fights for us a few months ago. I had times where I just didn’t want it and then I had some infections which meant we couldn’t do it. It caused a lot of tension in our marriage. Things have gotten better, but I can’t wait to enjoy sex again. I miss pleasurable sex.
