yup, me! I wasn't absolutely sure of a kick until just about 22 weeks (when my husband felt it from the outside)! I'm at 26 weeks now, and still mostly only feel kicks on the sides and top of my stomach.
See i get the occasional twing... but im never sure if its her.
Its driving me crazy ! lol... i just want to be kicked ! lol
I work with infants and toddlers and recently met a mommy who's son was placed this way in utero. She told me that she NEVER felt her baby while he was in there. She said that she had a lot of ultrasounds while she was pregnant so they could make sure that he was healthy throughout.
@ForeverYoung: The occasional twinge is probably her! And, I agree it can be frustrating! It's a little embarrassing to admit, but a couple days before feeling our little guy for sure, I actually had "minor" emotional breakdown because my clothes were starting not fit, and I felt like I was getting "fat" and not pregnant because I hadn't had any pregnancy signs. And it seemed like everyone was already feeling there babies and I wasn't. It was really stupid, but... hey... I was hormonal and feeling disconnected to my baby because I hadn't felt him kick yet.
I know it's hard, but be patient. =)
I had an anterior placenta; I don't exactly remember when I started to feel kicks, but I think it was after 20 weeks. And it took a while until my husband could feel baby kicks, too, because of it. Don't worry; it'll happen for you. :) Pretty soon your little bug will be moving and jabbing around in there so much you'll wonder how they even have the room to perform those crazy acrobatics!
I have an anterior placenta, so I know how you feel about not feeling kicks as early on as other people do. I wasn't definitely sure I felt anything until about week 21, but now at week 23 I'm starting to feel them pretty regularly!
im at 26.5 weeks and i feel her all the time now. THANK GOD !!! lol... Its been sooo nice :)

SOOO...I am part of the lucky 40% of pregnancies that have an anterior placenta. Having an Anterior Placenta means that instead of being in the back behind the baby...in in the front...like behind my belly button if you will.
I am told it takes longer for us to feel the baby's kicks like this. I'm 22 weeks I pregnant and I still have yet to feel a good kick or a kick at all really. I can feel her roll around...but nothing big...
Anyone else have an anterior placenta? When did you start feeling the baby really move around ?
