I’ve been researching online for engagement ring styles that I would like to share with SO. By the end of this year we would like to start going ring shopping! I’ve fallen in love with antique and vintage e-rings, with milgrain and filigree.
I initially was interested in e-rings with pave all around, but I wanted something a lil bit more antique. SO and I have been together for over 7 years.
Also has anyone been to the Diamond District in NYC? Do you think they carry antique rings? I don’t know much about where to go for ring shopping, esp. for an antique/vintage style ring. I kind of sort of like something similar to this: 🙂
Can you please show me your antique/vintage engagement rings? 🙂
Please and thank you!

I haven’t been to the jewelry district in NYC, but I got my setting in the jewelry district in LA. They have everything, and I’m sure NY has more than enough options. Besides, ERG is in NY, they are one of the top rated custom jewelers all over pricescope.com
Here is my vintage looking ring

Gabriel and Co is based out of nyc and they have tons of vintage styles. Check out their website. I ordered mine online from a store in nyc called ID jewelry. Their website is idjewelryonline.com

Yes I have, and they do. It’s a fun, jam-packed block, to go for a wander.
I also suggest checking out local pawn shops to potentially score a hidden antique treasure, and online auctions as well.

@NYCkindaBee: Here is mine. To me it had that same look but it’s new so the long term durability is there. Is by scott kay.

Here is my vintage ring, handmade circa 1935. White gold from French Jewelers in NYC, long gone, I presume. Ring was Grandma’s. no pave.

@NYCkindaBee: If you’re in NY, you HAVE to visit the NYC Antique Jewelry Show in late July!
There are hundreds of amazing vendors and you’ll see more antique engagement rings under one roof than you thought possible.

I was also drawn to vintage styles while choosing my e-ring. I found this floral double halo style which I love!! No milgrain, plain shank. The metal shank keeps the large center basket classy-looking imo. I paired it with a custom rising gallery diamond contour style wedding band.
