I didn't see it but heard a preview on the radio on my way to work this a.m. Ouch......that's just cruel!
I know I agree. And I missed initial panel too where the go from about 30 or so girls down to the final selection. Because then we normally hear their background stories. I dont feel attached to these girls at all or feel like I know any of them. I know they were trying to switch it up, but I still felt it was missing.
I watched it too and the whole first 15 minutes I kept wondering how they crushed those girls who thought they were staying and then had to go home! I hope those girls were actresses or something. I'm pretty sure Tyra is plum crazy.
@irishbride2be: I also miss the background stories. I'm not sure I could say one thing personal about any of the girls this season because we just don't know!
ANTM is my guilty pleasure. I haven't watched the premiere yet, but it's in the DVR queue.
My husband (yes, I made him watch it with me!) and I think that they were actresses or models that Tyra knows.
Random fact I learned tonight, Andre Leon Talley and Miss Jay are supposedly together?? Did everyone know this but me?
@farmgirl2106: WHAT! I did NOT know that!! I really can't imagine that.... for some reason it seems like their personalities would clash? I think fashion & modeling is pretty freaking stupid sometimes, but I think Andre Leon Talley is the awesomest.
@LaurenK0105: Yeh, I'm just going off an internet search because when I think Hannah said Mr. and Mrs. Jay, my husband goes, "Are they together?" and I googled it, and it said (as of tonight, so someone else was wondering too!) that Miss Jay was Talley's gal. :)
I don't know anything about fashion to be honest. Just what I see on ANTM... I'm always surprised when they all gasp when Mr. Jay or Tyra mentions some random designer or photographer, who is no one to the rest of the world. I'm like, "How do they know about ALL of these people??" I just think the show is neat how the girls can look so one way on camera, and then their still photos are so incredible!

Who is watching? I just started watching it a bit on my DVR and I think that the switch up was completely mean. I understand wanting to surprise the girls who actually got in, but what about the girls who thought they got in at first, only to turn around and have them say, oops you aren't chosen after all, sorry.
