I hope this makes sense.
Does anyone else get anxious when thinking about how everything seems to be going right, life being ‘easy’?
I overheard a girl in my office talking about how she hates things being perfect because then she’s just waiting for something bad to happen.
Do any bees believe in things like this?

I can’t understand that sentiment. The last few years in my life have been really turbulent so I think everytime things are quiet I’m just waiting for the next hit lol. That being said I’d love to be a glass half full kinda gal, it’s my new years resolution 🙂

Ha! A pessimist is what an optimist calls a realist.
I wouldn’t say I get anxious, but the thought does cross my mind of “okay… so what’s headed my way?”

I get intense boredom when things are calm and then I do something stupid to shake things up. So, not anxiety, but I get really bored then things are perfect. I always need to be challenged, which is annoying and not really that healthy.

Yes! I feel the same way. I always get super worried when life is going perfectly that something bad is going to happen. I don’t have any advice but I wanted to let you know that I understand that exact feeling.

Yes. Things are so good for me right now, I am convinced something terrible is going to happen, like someone will get sick, my house will burn down, my dogs will die. Lots of anxiety. Like I don’t deserve this happiness. Isn’t that fucked up?! I think it’s the Catholic guilt.

LOL this reminds me of the scene in the movie Talladega Nights where the dad picks a fight at APplebee’s so they can be thrown out. Because he can’t stand when things are too perfect.
Personally I like when things are calm and settled down!
