hi kare, i know exactly how you feel!! our son is 6 months old and will be almost 1 when we get married in august. My girlfriends want to go to vegas for my bachelorette party and i keep going back and forth because i dont know how i will feel about leaving him, even though he would be with his dad while im gone. i am a stay at home mom, so i am with him 24/7!! we arent taking our honeymoon november/december sometime, so i have a little to prepare. I think this is the most stressful decision i will have to make!!

I love Mackinaw Island - look at Grand Hotel for a wonderful romantic stay.
Also, I left my daughter for the first time when she was two. I had so much anxiety about it and kept going back and forth. I cried on the way to the airport and before I got on the plane. As soon as I realized she was happy and having fun with her grandparents I was able to fully relax and stopped worrying. I even changed my flight so we could stay an extra day because she was having so much fun.
Yep our son is 2. He turns 3 a month before our wedding. I've never been away from him for more than one night so I def have the jitters about it.
My son is 2 will be 2 1/2 when we get married. 2 nights is the most I have been away from him, and it was so hard! I missed him like crazy, so I'm not sure how to do our honeymoon!
My daughter will be 1 in two months!!! Soo excited about that! I have had to leave her before for a couple of weeks when she was 5 months due to the military(#1 reason I decided to finally get out) and I cried like a big baby now I am obviously more comfortable with it and she goes for overnights with her grandparents so that we can enjoy date nights. However, we havent truly decided where we are going yet for our honeymoon but of course I dont want to go too far. LOL
I have a daughter who is going to be 4 on June 10th, and I am currently 6 months pregnant :)
We are ecstatic!

Hey girls! So me and my FI have a beautiful baby boy who is 1. (yeah we do things a little backwards) We are getting married May 15 of this year and are taking our honeymoon the first week of june. This is because my mom is watching our son and she works for the school district so she will be on summer vacation on that time and will be able to watch our son fully. Anywho though, this will be the longest time and furthest distence we have ever been away from him. Needless to say im feeling a little anixiety. The last time I spent a night away from him was when he was an infant. Is any other mommas feeling that way too???? Oh and we are from Michigan (west coast) and really want to stay closer (not close but closer) to home for our honeymoon. Anyone know of any great places??????
