I am picking up my new fur baby on Monday (and I am really excited and nervous!). I have never had a cat before and have been wanting one for a while, I bought a bunch of stuff for him and have been trying to study up on cat care (any tips would be great).
He is 9 weeks old, mostly grey with a little white.
My dog’s name is Whiskey so I would like my cat to also have a “fun” name. Any ideas would be great 🙂

I would name that cat shadow or smokey but those aren’t “fun” names. What about Grey Goose… haha it is grey

@blueEyes90: hahha, I love it! I think if I mentioned that idea to SO he would insist that was the name. It will go on my list 🙂

@DiamondsandViolets: Or if you want shorter, you could just do “Goose” and then explain everytie someone asks why you named your cat Goose.

So cute! I’ve never had a cat, but I love seeing everyone else’s ;]
For names, what about.. Jamison, Valentino “Tino”, or Jaeger?

@blueEyes90: that is what I was thinking – it would be a different name for sure!
@stephanie091512: I like Jaeger as a name! I’m putting it on the list
You ladies are so creative with the drink names, LOVE it 🙂

@DiamondsandViolets: Kitty Kong or Galway Grey 🙂

My baby’s name is Sebastian! I call him Seb or or Sebby most of the time! Its the name he came with from the shelter and I was going to change it but he already knew it and came to it so he remained Sebastian and now I love it! It’s a great cat name! We had a gray/black and white cat and we called Bovine cause he had spots like a cow. (Bo for short.) Then there is the obvious Snarf for male cats from the thunder cats! Can’t wait to hear what you pick!

Today I had a conversation with my dog about how “Grumpy” would be a good name for him or another animal. “Grumps.” “Grumplestiltskin”
Honestly I love Goose that someone else came up with.
Edit: PSA for the world: Don’t ever name an animal Doobie. It’s not fun, it made me feel sorry for the dog owned by the tweaker/stoner dudes.

@Baimee: I love that you said “I had a conversation with my dog..”. I do this all the time! My puppy and I had a conversation about her love for socks this morning. She wasn’t much for talking though….
@blueEyes90: Goose is looking like a top runner right now!

If you call him Goose, you have to get another one and name him Maverick.
