Much like PP I had my reduction at age 16. I went from a 34DD+ (who knows….I just wore sports bras for very large breasts) to a 34C/36C depending on bras. I actually normally just wear shelf bras now. I recovered very quickly, and my insurance mostly paid for it because of my back problems I had tried for years to treat every imaginable way (surgery disnt help me completely, but I have other problems I didn’t know of then). I also had Dr’s recommend it so that helped getting it mostly paid for. I think we just paid for like hospital fees or something. I was a minor so my parents took care of it all. I have always been very satisfied, but I don’t have kids yet so can’t attest to my ability to breast feed. I’m not going to hold my breath because I do have some weird sensation issues….vary sensitive in some areas and very little sensitivity in others. It doesn’t really affect me at all though at this time. But, overall I would definitely recommend it. Don’t be scared of the surgery itself….it wasn’t too bad. But I guess I have a high pain tolerance.

I had it done in 2001. I was 23. Best thing I have ever done for myself. I was a42DDD and went down to a 36D.

Insurance covered all but $500. It was  $10,000 procedure deemed medically necessary! Feel free to PM me.
