Watery, lube-like cervical fluid is still very fertile, is my understanding. I’d keep tracking and if you don’t conceive, I think you can supplement your CM with PreSeed or something like that. 🙂

I was TTC for 7 months, no luck and VERY DEPRESSING!

I hated charting, it was just too much work. I tried Pre-Seed two months ago and it didn’t help the first month. The second month I purchased OPK and used Pre-Seed and Bam I just got a positive two days ago! I’m so BEYOND thrilled, emotional, HAPPY.

I found out that I was ovulating 4 days later than what  I thought I was. I would recommend usung OPK even one month so you can predict when you do ovulate and  then get some Pre-Seed. It can’t hurt. It was worth the money!!! 🙂

I have never really had EWCM either. Lots of watery, no real EWCM. I got a BFP at month 4 of trying (it sadly ended in a MC but that doesn’t have anything to do with CM). SO, yes, it is possible 🙂

@Charlies_Angel:  I say it’s possible to get pregnant, but is it also possible that you have miscalculated your ovulation days? Perhpas you truly aren’t ovulating right now? You have only been tracking your EWCM over the past week. I would give it some more tracking time, but continue to BD on your projected ovulation days just to be certain.

EWCM creates the most hosspitable environment for sperm but is not absolutely necessary for their surviveI. however I definitely agree with those who said track your ovulation! I have found out I actually ovulate between day 6 and 8 and doctors told me that was impossible! Well I have conceived 4 children that way! Aso there can be many issues to affect conception aside from ewcm but if you feel you are not producing enough Vitex or Evening Primrose can really help in that area as well as increasing water consumption. Good luck and baby dust to u 🙂

I hardly had EWCM, it would get very watery. Sometimes I would mark it as EWCM if it was a thicker water.. if that makes sense lol

I don’t think I had any and I got pregnant quickly just using Pre-Seed!

I would never have EWCM on my underwear, and very rarely when I would wipe. I had to be a lot more invasive to check my CM, and even then I never had a lot of EWCM. Like some of the other posters, it just got a lot more watery. This did not affect my getting pregnant at all. With my first pregancy I got my BFP on the second cycle and with my second pregnancy on my fourth.

I think the key is to really get to know your cycle. Although I didn’t get the classic EWCM, with the changes unique to me, I could easily pinpoint the day I ovulated.

I did see it once and a while but not every month….I got pregnant first month using OPK’s as well….and there was EWCM when I got my surge.
