Just saw a few this past month that were REALLY good so I thought I would share them and see if anyone else has some suggestions!
Exit Through the Gift Shop
SO GOOD! It was just well done! The end was very lol
Man on Wire
I actually thought this one would be boring because it is about a tight rope walker, but it was really entertaining. Kept you involved!
Deliver us from Evil
This one is heartbreaking. Not for the weak of heart.
Any other bees have any suggestions on what to watch next?

The only one of those I haven’t seen is Deliver us from Evil. I am STILL thinking about Exit Through the Gift Shop! The story is just so unbelievable and Terry is, so hard to like at the end.
I just saw Food Inc for the first time and someone suggested I watch Fresh. My goal is to watch all the Ocar nominated docs. I heard Gasland is really good.

I love documentaries!
I just recently watched Exit Through the Gift Shop. The concensus is that Mr. Brainwash is just Banksy pulling another fast one on the art world. Fascinating story.
I really enjoyed The Wild and Wonderful Whites of West Virginia. That is one crazy family! Check it out.
And I also really enjoyed American Teen and The September Issue.

@seattlemeg: YES! I seriously did not stop talking about exit through the gift shop for so long. The whole movie I thought they looked up to him and at the end I realized they were ridiculing him the whole time!
I havent seen Food Inc, Fresh or Gasland so I’m going to look into those! Thanks!

@Theresa90405: Oh. My. God. I never thought of it like that!

@Theresa90405: I didn’t think of that either but just read the wsj article that suggests it as well. Very interesting. I felt like the movie left me with a lot of unanswered questions and a little bit of suspicion, it will be interesting to see what (if anything) happens at the Academy Awards.

I’d suggest the Michael Moore documentaries unless you’re a conservative republican. Sometimes a little over the top and gimmicky, but always entertaining. “Sicko” is pretty bi-partisan and one of his best. Other than his movies, “One Day In September” was a documentary that haunted me a long time. It’s about the Israeli athletes taken hostage during the 72′ olympics. It’s fascinating but gut-wrenching to watch.

Ooh, I love documentaries too! I watched a great one called Good Hair–it’s a project of Chris Rock’s, and it looks at the culture of African-American women’s hair, basically. It’s funny, but it also really makes you think about our values as a society. I learned a lot and still think about it often, even though I saw it maybe 6 months ago.

I LOVE documentaries!!! I just recently watched “Death” The science of dying. Very interesting. I’ve been wanting to watch “Exit through the Gift shop” but haven’t…I might here soon…
I watched one called “Mail Order Bride” not too long ago. I found it VERY interesting how woman will litterally give themselves away to get out of their country. Its amazing how little support they have once they are “bought” by their husbands. Especially since most of them are abusive.
I also watched one on JFK not too long ago. It really made me think that they never actually caught the right killer.
Oh how I LOVE documentaries!!! So geeky and sciency but SOO interesting!!! =D

Ive actually been trolling the documentaries on hulu for the last little bit. I just recently watched “America The Beautiful”, which is about America’s obsession with looks and beauty, it touches on modeling, plastic surgery, etc. Pretty interesting.
