I am doinga 30-day abs challenge from November 1st to November 30th through my job, and I am counting calories.  I am on a 1200 cals/day diet.  I have done it before (the counting calories) and it worked really well (25 lbs in 3 monhts).  I am now hoping to lose 10 lbs and be at 128.

@ToTheRiot:  The whole counting calories thing (if you want to do it right) is quite a bit of work.  In all honestly I would not have been able to do it if it were not for my husband (he is the one that cooks).  We bought the thing to measure my BMI, then he plugs all the info into a table and we determine how much i should be eating to lose weight (the result was 1258 calories), then he measures everything I eat.

I eat a lot of quinoa, turkey ground, non-fat yogurt, baby carrots, turkey breast, chicken breast, lettuce–lots of lettuce.

The hardest part is not eating dessert.

@ToTheRiot:  try to do it long enough that you start seeing some results.  The results themselves will keep you motivated to keep going.  Also, if you do it right, you will not really gain the weight back.  I only gained back three lbs in two years, which I consider a success.  I keep having to talk myself out of eating certain things, which is no way of living, really, but I am just doing it temporarily.  Once I reach 128, I will start eating certain things again in moderation.

I want to join, I am only four pounds away from my end weight goal but the scale has not budged. More importantly, I want to tone up!
