We are moving, and for this month has been so stressful, and I also have been eating a lot, and not too healthy either. I know I have gained weight, not sure how much as I am afraid of steping in a scale. BUT! August is my month. Exercise every other day and very mindful of what I eat. My goal is 8-10 lbs. Any other bees want to join me?

I was pretty good before the wedding. But then it was all about eating delicious things on honeymoon, take out, comfort food, eating out with hubby and friends, BBQs, and lots. of. booze. And there always seems to be something that needs to be done and keeps me from exercising. I can’t stand my pasty belly and love handles!
That’s my goal: Losing my love handles and getting a flatter stomach.

I will join you! I shouldn’t need to lose any *weight* per se–wouldn’t even mind putting on some pounds if they were solid muscle.
But I am all in for health and fitness in August. Yay!

I’m in! I’d like to lose about 2 pounds but really tone up and get more endurance and muscle.
I will say, my CSA helps with the eating in the summer but the heat waves surely don’t!

I’m in! I am not trying to lose any weight, I would just like to tone up a bit and get more muscle. I plan to start yoga again and increase the length of the walks we take with our dog. Also, Darling Husband and I talked last night and have decided to cut out soda all together. Recently we have also been going to the farmers market to buy our fruits and veggies and trying to eat less and less processed food. I hope we can keep up with it!

I’m in! I might not start right at the beginning of August, but I got a Groupon for 2 months unlimited hot yoga, and will be starting in a few weeks, so need to eat a little bit better for that!

I’m new to this site and to the whole wedding scene. My soon to be and I are bookin our engagement trip to Vegas tonight. We leave Oct 28, 2012. Sooooo gotta loose the love handles, the spare tire and the back seat lol

I’m in!!! I starting working out a week ago. I am not going to put a number I’d like to be at, just because for me, it’s unhealthy to focus on numbers, considering my past, and the struggles I have dealt with with an ED. But I definitely want to work my way up to a solid 45 minute run. I worked up from 15min to 35 min a week. 🙂
I just want to go to the gym to feel betetr and stronger and more confident. Not to be “skinnier” per say.

So what’s everyone been doing so far? This morning I’m going on a long walk and then for breakfast I’m having Greek yogurt with granola and a side of fruit. This a big change from my usual waffles with syrup or french toast with a side of bacon lol

Good for you! Walking is so nice. And that breakfast sounds delish, and super healthy. Definitely an improvement from bacon and waffles!
I’ll be going for a jog today at the gym ( my son doesn’t like the stroller too much, it can be a hit and miss). I’ll probably jog at 6 mph, for about 35 minutes, and walk at an incline of 8.5 grade, and 3.5 mph. And then come home, and do a few weights.
I’ll have a berry banana bran muffin, that I made last night, for breakfast 🙂
