I see quite a few weight loss groups but I was wondering if there is anyone else that is wanting to lose 40+ lbs. I’m actually wanting to lose 60+ but 40 before I do E pics.
I could really use a weight loss buddy who I can help motivate and who can help motivating me!

I’m trying to lose 45lbs and I have 6 more months to go before I get married. I’ve already lost 8lbs. In the last month. Trying to go from 187lb to 140-145ish.
If you need a buddy I can help you there. I just joined the gym (GoodLife Fitness here) and I can tell you that for the last 3 weeks it has been nothing but hard. I just keep saying to myself that I won’t remember what I ate last week, but I will remember my wedding photos for years to come… but that wears thin when you are huffing and puffing away.

I just want to let you guys know that you can do it! It takes a LOT of hardwork and dedication. There are some nights I just cried because I felt like I wasn’t getting anywhere but I went from 200 and I am now down to 140!

Count me in! I need to lost at least 50 pounds, preferably 65+, to get into a healthy weight range. I think it would be great to be weight loss buddies! I go to the gym, but I should definitely go more than I do, and I’ve been doing weight watchers for about two weeks. Feel free to PM me and we can be weight loss buddies!

I’m thrilled to see ya’ll here!! I actually lost a little over 100 lbs by good ole fashion calorie counting and working out… but after my partner and I met.. I put on some weight again… BOOOOO.
I’m going to be doing 1200 cals a day and working out on EA Active 2 on our Wii… it is a DEFINATE work out!!! I’ll be doing that 4-5 times a week.
So ladies… what are your ideas for how to do this on this site?

Wow! 100 pounds?!? Impressive.
I’m doing the old Weight Watchers and gym 5 days a week thing. I have lost next to nothing so far, it’s been two weeks. I’m hoping it all catches up with itself at once or something. At the gym, I’m doing a Zumba class one day a week, a total body conditioning class once a week, running on the eliptical 5 days a week for 30-45 minutes, and I am starting Bikram Yoga in a few weeks for one 90 minute class a week.

Count me in too 🙂 I need some motivation . I have been trying for the last month to lose weight and it hasn’t been working. I need to lose weight – if not – I don’t fit into my dress
I want to lose at least 50 before my wedding – hoping it is possible. I lost 70 lbs last year and have gained almost all of it back. If I can be accountable to someone , I think I will be more successfull

I want to be a part of the weight loss group too! I lost about sixty pounds a few years ago and have gained it all back 🙁
I’m hoping to lose it all again (am currently down 12 pounds- so 48 more to go!)
I’m eating clean, counting calories and jogging every other day. I’m going to start weight training at the end of the month.

I have lost fifteen pounds already but I’m looking to lose at least sixty more (probably closer to about seventy five) – slowly but surely is the way to go!

So do you think we should have a daily check in (just basically saying how we did that day) and make a name for our group so it’s easy to find? And then do a weekly weigh in? We don’t have to put our weight just weight lost/gained. I’d be glad to keep up with everything if you’d like 🙂

I want to join the group! I have 11 & 1/2 months to lose 45 lbs!!
I have lost 5, but still have a long way to go! I am doing weight watchers and it is working out great because I don’t feel like I’m denying myself.
Also I’ll be starting the Zumba cardio dvds as well as Jillian Michaels’ dvds soon.
11 months is enough time to lose 45 lbs in a non-psycho way, right??
