Have any bees worn a banded/fitted/tight dress for e-pics? I have fallen in love with a blush pink dress from French connection that I think would look great with heels and/or old gringo boots!
Also, I know most photographers say to steer clear from fitted, but I’m 22 and in great shape and kinda want to show off my “cute little figure” that people always say, just unsure if a short flowy dress would be a better option?
All feedback/thoughts are appreciated!!! 🙂

Go for it! Could you have outfit changes also? That way you have options to choose from when all is said and done.

@CharmBracelet: I think we get 2 outfit changes! Thanks for the encouragement! : )

I would feel self concious about my angles in a fitted dress which would make me look uncomfortable and might make me reject some of the pictures. As long as you don’t think that’s a problem, go ahead and do it!

I agree, bring two different dresses. That way you have variety.

I did wear a sheath dress jackie o type feel that fit me like a glove..but it covered me…there was no chest…and it came to just above my knees.
I feel like showing your figure is great….but I’d stay away from anything you’d typically see in the club….I’d keep it classy if you are wearing something fitted.

I’m in pretty good shape, but cameras tend to bring out any and every little flaw. I’m not up to that challenge, so I’d steer clear of anything very tight and unforgiving. If you feel comfortable though, go for it.

I voted other. I have no problem with fitted dresses, and I think you should go for one for one outfit choice, but I would steer clear of banded dresses if I were you. In my opinion, they are already passe, and haven’t really been fashionable for at least a year now. I am not alone in thinking the Herve Leger look has been over for a while now, so I wouldn’t use that style for e-pics.
Blush pink sounds lovely though – maybe something else that fits your curves nicely in that color?

🙂 Maybe you could bring a shrug/cardigan/jacket to wear wththe dress as well. Or would that count as an outfit change? This way you could be a little more covered up but still able to wear the dress. After a few pictures with the shrug/cardigan/jacket you could take it off and get some shots without it. This would add mroe variety to your pics as well! I guess this just depends on how well the additional piece looks with your dress. Good luck lady! Have fun geting your pictures taken!

@CharmBracelet: Thank you for your great feedback! I hadn’t even thought about adding a jacket…I think that would be a great option and I don’t think it would count as an outfit change! Good call! 🙂
To all that mentioned having concern about angles, I think I should be fine. I only said I was in pretty good shape because I didn’t want to come off conceited or anything, but I’m a fit & healthy size 0, so I’m not concerned about angles. I really hope that by stating my size I didn’t come off as being snarky, because that wasn’t my intention at all. Hope I didn’t offend anyone! Thanks for all the feedback!!! 🙂
