Oy. It’s getting REALLY effin old dealing with these seizures sometimes. I listen to the doctors, I barely drink alcohol. No drugs. I try to stay as stress free as much as possible and get my sleep. Note: I have absence seizures
Yet I cannot go more than a month without having one. The other night I had one in the middle of SEX….Never happened before I ‘came to’ half naked in our bed hours later, feeling drunk and wondering why we fought…Apparently him trying to get me to respond/coax me into bed in my startled mind I remember that as yelling.
I’m so glad my SO is supportive every time I get ill and have to stop making dinner, any normal task, etc and he helps me up to bed or on the couch. I had to go to a monitering center last fall, and was in the hospital for almost 2 weeks. (I know I shouldnt complain about that, cause people stay in there WAY longer) and he came up almost every day and missed his hockey games to stay with me.
I feel like as I get older they are more frequent, slowly but surely. Its scary to think, cause I’m on medication and seek attention for it…Why does it get worse?
Anyone get theirs monitered down? And what meds are you on, cause I think I need to change mine… I’m not allowed to have a liscence until I’m 6 months seizure free
