mine is 7mm and my ring size is actually a 7.5. (chubby fingers) i can fit my e-ring on it for two days and then it will start to hurt so i resized my e-ring to fit my other hand.

I know this is an old post, but it didn’t have a ton of replies, so I decided to take a chance on commenting. Apologies if this bothers anyone or clutters up the board too much.

NellieBelly37: I’m a bigger finger size than you (size 8, with rings usually sized to 8.5 b/c I like them a bit loose). My original wedding band is about 6-7 mm wide. My current “ERing” is about 3-4 mm wide, I think. I sometimes wear them together, as I occasionally like the look and feel of a wider/chunkier sort of set. I don’t find it uncomfortable. I think that’s really up to personal preference and how long your fingers are. Some folks would love it and others would hate it.

My wedding band on its own:

NellieBelly37:  You’re so welcome. I would have posted earlier, but I only just saw your post recently. I love seeing posts talking about bigger/wider wedding bands, because that definitely doesn’t seem to be the trend. I’ve always loved the look of a wide band.

Beautiful sparkle!! I love them together and think they look great. Your band is so pretty — love the detailing in the middle of it. And I like the darker color a lot, too. I think it goes with the color of your stones really well. Congrats on your new, lovely ring!
