Olà!

I’m not Brazilian but Portuguese. I am bringing in my roots into the wedding, maybe I could help out a bit with yours if you’d like. What are some of the things you’d like to incorporate?

Well I’m not sure how they are done in Portugal per say as Im in Canada. But what I do know over here Portuguese weddings are pretty big.

We have a sweet table around midnight with a huge seafood buffet table. We will have Pasteis de Nata and Puddim as well. Love that stuff.

Brasileira aqui! ๐Ÿ™‚

I’m trying to actually combine my culture with my FI. He is ethnically Chinese but is culturally tied to New Orleans (ele nasceu lá) so I know for sure we will be having a LOT of color!!

Was thinking of incorporating samba dancing and music at one point and the appetizers will definitely be amazing: paozinhos de queijo, coxinhas–aiiiii que saudaaaadeee!!

I like this thread!  My FI is Brazilian, any ideas on how to incorporate his culture?  I’ve thought about dancers and brigadiers, but that’s about as far as I’ve gotten!

@LavenderBride24:  You should look up some brazilian wedding blogs to help you! ๐Ÿ™‚

http://www.constancezahn.com is a very famous one, a lot of inspiration from dress to decor, food and a lot of other stuff!

And, if you need something else, google something like “blogs de casamento brasileiros”, because I know you are going to fine a lot of awesome things ๐Ÿ™‚
