Congrats! I am getting married at Water's Edge in September of this year (September 30th)!
I live on the UWS and we decided to do our room block and hotels at Hotel Beacon and On the Ave on the Upper West Side. We will just take a limo over to Water's Edge the day of the wedding and I will prove a bus (pretty reasonable) for out of town guests to the venue.We were going to do the ferry but I decided against it in case on bad weather.
Are you doing your ceremony at Water's Edge too or reception only?
I'd love to hear from you it's nice to have a bride in the same planning boat! :)

Im doing the ceremony and reception at water's edge. To cut down on all the travel time and people traveling around all of the boroughs, i decided to book a suite at the ravel hotel the night of the wedding and get ready there...they are allowing us to use their covered roof for pics before..they have a mercedes shuttle that they said i can use to get to water's edge (literally 2 min drive away) and then even drop people off at the subway after and bring us back. I thought the ferry would be great but being in Feb also makes me worry about the weather so opted out of that...
Is your wedding in the evening? Where did you end up doing your rehearsal dinner?

I am getting married at the water's edge in Long Island City Feb 2012. I leaning towards booking my bridal suite and guest rooms at the Ravel Hotel. What are other brides doing that are getting married at the Water's Edge?
