I ordered some taffeta shawls/wraps. They did a really nice job although the colors weren’t exactly true to the website samples (which is always an issue when ordering online, just seemed more dramatic on this order than with other sites). Took about 4 or maybe 5 weeks to arrived. I’d order from them again.

FWIW they are in the Shopping Sites for most major airlines so if you go to the airline page, then through their shopping link, you get miles on your purchase even if you don’t have an airline miles credit card. Not enough for a ticket unless it’s a very big purchase but every little bit adds up.

I custom ordered a dress for my rehearsal about 7 weeks ago. It’s not shipping until next week. I’m surprised it’s taking so long, although they e-mailed me a question and I forgot to answer for 5 days.

If your item is not custom sized and already made, it may be here in time. I’d recommend that you contact them to verify.

I ordered a bridesmaid dress off there once, I’m a street size  6-8, ordered the 8 and it didnt even come close to doing up. I had to return it and ordered a custom sized one which ended up being way too big and I had to get it altered. It was extremely poorly made and the color looked nothing like the swatch, I would never shop there again.

All of my bridesmaids got their dresses from there and unfortunately, all of them had problems. Two of them did custom measurements and both of their dresses ended up being too small and had to be altered. The other bridesmaid ordered her normal dress size and unfortunately also had to have it altered due to it being too small. That said, now that they are altered, they all look lovely.

I just received some clutches from there. They came super fast and I ordered when they were having a deal on shipping rates. They look good!

I ordered my wedding shoes from there, and I ordered them in December, so with the holidays, I was worried about getting them in time, but it only took a little over 3 weeks. The shoes were gorgeous though they were a little big; I had to get the heel slip-in things so that my foot would stay in them.

I’m waiting for my dress.  I ordered my dress on May 10th with a shipped date of June 4th.  I will report back then.  Fingers, toes, and eyes crossed for a good experience.

I ordered a crinoline with the slowest shipping and got it a week later.  Looks exactly as it did in the picture. I paid about $44 which was tax and shipping but the invoice that came with the item when it arrived said $17..that tells me it cost barely nothing to make..in China.  But overall, satisfied with my purchase.

I ordered a couple evening gowns and a few accessories from them.

It did take a while.

I ordered the dresses two months apart with same measurement (custom measurement).  First dress fit better than the second dress, which was a complete disaster (the seamstress apparently forgot to sew the waist so the dress is two inches wider than it should be).  Lightinthebox end up paying the extra alterations for the second dress.  I think they will pay up to half of the dress value for alterations and I maxed it out.  My dress was in that bad of condition.

FYI, I end up have to pay extra for alterations for both dresses (which was custom made) because they didn’t do a good job in China when they made the dress.  The materials of the dresses are nice.  Just people sewing it was very careless and my seamstress here said what they did was very unprofessional.

So my dress end up cost the same as regular dress here after the alterations…

So be aware of it.  OH and I forgot to mention, my second dress got hold up at customs and I had to pay extra duty on it.

So my advice to people…. if you are looking for a $200-300 dress that’s supposed to be worth $1000+….it’s worth it.  But if you are looking for $130 dress that’s selling at around $200 here….the end cost might be the same after shipping, possible duty + alterations.

The accessories I bought from them look okay btw…I just had bad experience with their custom made dresses.
