I love this idea! The only idea I have is to use burlap bags for OOT guest bags... You could glue burlap around vases if you are not doing the table runners.
I'm using more burlap than I probably ought to! Here's some links of DIYs I've already done and posted here with burlap. I bought mine online from an upholstery wholesaler, too, so it was super cheap at $1.20/yd for 30 yards.
I've made ruffled table runners, bird's nests to use as candy dishes in the centerpieces, rosettes, pillow covers (we're having guests sit on blankets/quilts for our outdoor ceremony, so I've made burlap pillow covers for pillow forms to add to the comfort) and am using it for my photobooth backdrop (a la the below added photo idea).
I'm also having a lavender theme and found the below design on vistaprint's website that incorporates lavender and burlap!
I'm certain I will come up with other things to do, as 30 yards is a ton and I will have plenty left over. Feel free to also check out my wedding planning blog where I communicate with our family back east about our wedding!

Hi Bee's I'm having a rustic/nature themed wedding and have a couple of ideas on how to use burlap for my wedding but just curious if anybody else is using it for their wedding and how? Give me your ideas!
This is one of mine!
